For this necklace there is a fat little song sparrow sitting on a olive branch.
I carved the song sparrow and cast it into bronze and the branch is from a pruning of an olive tree that I collected when I was staying on a little farm in Italy, once I got back to my studio I cast it into silver.
The round linked silver chain connects onto the branch and can be clipped shorter, and because the pendant is attached in the center, the clasp end doesn't slip around to the front.
Choose from Bronze Nuthatch, Wren or Chickadee for your toggle.
The pendant part is 1 1/4 inch across.
At full length this necklace is 20". For the option to sometimes wear it longer I include a 6" extender in the same chain.
